Illegal Mum

They live among us and yet remain invisible. They clean our toilets, make our beds and nurse our parents. We let them into our house, but hardly anyone knows their story. Three mothers leave the abject poverty of Moldova to work illegally as cleaners in Austria and Italy. While these women, separated from their families and their homeland, follow the dream of a better life, their children grow up alone.
